Became the hame o’ Keith FC
Back in February o’ 1922

The first game wiz a bit o’ a do

It cost a shillin’ tae get in
The veesitors were Elgin City
Tho’ the hame side tried their very best
They lost 1-0 – fit a pity

The Heilan’ League it wiz oor aim
Ye cwid say it wiz oor dream
An’ twa ‘eer later it cam’ aboot
Fin we becam’ a senior team

Wir first league game on the hallowed turf

Oh dear – sadly 1-5 it wiz the score

Ah – bit better days were roon the corner

A 5-2 win sealin’ Dalbeattie Star’s fate

A month efter cam’ the biggie

Five Thoosan’ Aicht Hunner’ fowk
Waatched – as Keith feenished 6-1 doon

The ‘eers flew by
A lot o’ fitba wiz played
There wiz goals galore at the Park
Gweed games on Balloch Road abiddy said

Dod Gill and Mitch Bavidge were sharpshooters
They baith notched a magnificent sivin
Keith fans that sa’ the feats
Thocht they’d deid an’ gone tae hivvin

Scottish Cup glory hit the heidlines
In 1960 fin Hamilton  were dumped

Sa’ Accies well an’ truly thumped

In January Nineteen Aichty
We were nae langer in the dark
The floodlichts were switched on
Tae licht up Kynoch Park!

The same ‘eer -in February
In the news again in the National Cup
Wins at Threave an’ Hamilton were super
Five thoosan’ six hunner’ v Berwick – bit sadly oor time wiz up

Sae mony stars graced the Pitch
Far too mony tae mention here
Bit the likes o’ Cowie, Penrose, Curran an’ Woodcock
Gave the fans plunty tae cheer

We’ve hid Morgan, Munro, Gray an’ O’Hara
Rattray, Thain, Keith, Nicol an’ Still
